Hotel Fanes Suite e SPA

What stayed with us most was how much Steffano and Claudia helped when our car broke down soon after we reached Moena. An electronics fault immobilized it. Using their local contacts, they got it diagnosed very quickly and tried to get the engine going, though that failed because Audi service had no spare parts and said we’d wait at least 10 days. They also helped us find a ride to the airport. They didn’t have to do any of that, but they did. It can be a real barrier that not everyone in Italy speaks English, and we were lucky to meet them. As Steffano explained it, if you have a friend in Italy, things work; without one, nothing works. We spent a week there in January 2023. The staff were nice, helpful, and easy to talk to, and made us feel like family. The hotel was clean and tidy. Parking was free for guests, though spaces were a little tight during our stay, probably because Fanes is so popular. To us, the owners were the biggest plus: young, energetic, caring, open, and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We ski in Italy every year and have tried different hotels, but this one felt especially cozy, with pleasant staff, internet, a pool, and a remarkable restaurant. We had half board. Breakfast was a varied, filling buffet, and dinner brought a different impressive menu each time, with choices and a dedicated waiter. The location worked very well too.

We’ve stayed at this hotel several times and always found the staff professional and friendly. It has a family feel, and we’ve really enjoyed the restaurant each visit. The meals have been a proper gastronomic experience. We highly recommend visiting.

Close to downtown Moena and a great base for a ski holiday. It was clean as expected, the staff were friendly, and the food was great. I recommend it.
