We picked the quiet break between seasons on purpose, and Moena was wonderfully peaceful, with very few tourists and an easy time getting around or finding somewhere to eat. Just check what’s open before you book: in late April only 3 of the 27 places we looked at were operating. Our Airbnb apartment was roomy, comfortable, fairly new, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of wood and a little kitchen that made quick breakfasts easy. We also had a very good dinner in the restaurant downstairs. The location was handy and the service friendly, but parking was the drawback. We had to walk 5-10 minutes to a public lot, which costs money during the season. Everything else was really nice.

The apartment was better than we expected for comfort and value. It’s right in the centre of Moena, and during our October low season visit we could park for free about a 3-5 minute walk away. We booked through Faloria hotel and would definitely come back.

That kitchen and laundry room were such a treat!

Really lovely apartment.

I’m writing because I want to explain what happened to us, and because the reply to my girlfriend’s review needs addressing. When someone gives a professional criticism, the response should be to listen. Instead, you used sarcasm and personal insults, even commenting on what she was wearing. That was embarrassing. Call it a “suite,” an “apartment,” or a “castle”; people who pay still deserve respect. Making fun of guests who mention problems isn’t clever or ironic, it’s rude and unintelligent. If someone has high expectations or arrives late, you call them “aristocratic.” If they ask for water, they’re “spoiled.” If they point out bad service, you ridicule them. Water and basic amenities aren’t luxuries. There’s nothing aristocratic about expecting to find water in your room. Telling guests to drink “tap water” or book a 5-star hotel while mocking them says plenty about how you handle criticism. You were offended and fell back on pointless excuses and immature sarcasm. Embarrassing.
