B&B Nonna Peppina

We slept like royalty, thanks to the comfortable mattress and pillows, and the shutters kept the room dark. That’s a big deal after trying B&Bs in nearby towns where we found the beds hard as concrete and no shutters or blackout curtains. Stefano and Grandma were especially kind and sweet, and we’ll definitely come back. The place itself is a well-kept, clean traditional Sardinian home, with antique furnishings and wooden floors upstairs.

The beaches are around 50-55 minutes away, so I rated the location a 3. If you’re looking to save a few bucks, this is a great option. The room has an antique feel, but the bed and pillows were really comfortable. There wasn’t a bidet, though the bathroom is small, so I didn’t mind. Mrs. Peppina is an angel, always smiling and happy to stop for a chat. Highly recommended!!!

The few people we ran into in the village were very welcoming, even though the place itself feels like a ghost town. We usually like family-home rooms, old-fashioned furniture and a rural setting, but this property felt archaic and far too expensive at €90 for an old room in a deserted village. The dark wooden furniture is old, there are no shared spaces, and the bathroom works but has a very loud outside pump. Toilet paper has to go in the bin, which after a few hours in the summer heat makes the room... you can imagine. We didn’t feel comfortable.

Stefano drove all the way here when we were desperately trying to find a room, and we were able to stay. He’s wonderful, and the lovely grandma makes this hidden-away house absolutely charming. Everything was neat and clean. I can’t say anything about the beach since there isn’t one.
