It’s a peaceful place to get some rest and step back from the rush of everyday life. The grounds are quiet, and the comfortable shared spaces make it easy to unwind. Cell reception can be patchy in some spots, and Wi-Fi doesn’t reach every room, so plan for that if you need a reliable connection. A great place for a digital detox.

The view with Etna in the background was astonishing. Our junior suit was roomy, though the bathroom could use an upgrade. It’s a fine place, and let’s hope Etna doesn’t erupt!

It’s quiet here, though a little remote, and you’ll need a vehicle to get around. I stayed just one day. My room was spacious and well organized, and the cleaning was decent. Breakfast was good quality, but there wasn’t much choice in pastries. The outdoor area looks a bit neglected compared with the photos and could use an update. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable.

The receptionist was very kind and suggested a great place for dinner. The property is welcoming and comfortable, and not far from the Alcantara Gorges. It was a wonderful experience.
