A good spot for spending a few days by the sea. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was okay, and breakfast was good. For the price, I’d say it was fair enough!

We came over from the UK for a week at Hotel Gabbiano because of a family wedding nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was kept very clean. We’d recommend staying here and hope to come back sometime soon.

The hotel has potential to be nice with a good investment, but right now it needs renovation throughout. The rooms are old, including the furniture, bathroom and floors. Service was poor, probably because there weren't enough staff and the long shifts left people frustrated; even when they tried to be nice, they could come across as impolite. Breakfast was basic, with limited choice and quality. I saw guests arriving later who couldn't get cakes or croissants because there wasn't enough for everyone. I don't think this deserves a 3-star rating, and it definitely doesn't match the information on Booking. The structure needs a health and safety inspection. If the owner doesn't want to spend money on the property, at least improve the service and breakfast. People would be happier and there might be fewer complaints. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend it to my friends.
