The owner wasn't kind or respectful with us, and the room itself wasn't clean. There was a strong, unpleasant cigarette smell, and the property seemed poorly looked after. We left very disappointed, since the stay fell far short of what we'd expected.

I found this average campsite too expensive. Our pitch had no nearby drinking fountain, and the drain was blocked, so I had to ask for water farther away. There were no bins either. I could only have put the dog poo in the bin at the bar, right among the guests. My pitch also had leftover rubbish: an abandoned doormat, a broken bike light, muffin paper, socks and used tea towels. There are no dividers between pitches, so there's no real personal space. The narrow roads are hard to manage with a large camper, and cars are parked along them everywhere. It's a family campsite with lots of children, and the noise is extreme. They're still screaming at 10 pm.

I'd stay away unless you want music going all day. We booked a lake view mobile home expecting a premium spot in the campground, but concerts and music shows sometimes started at 10 pm and went on until midnight. It was a disaster. The place is loud and crowded. During the day you hear the pool, then the music, and eventually kids playing and screaming right in front of the houses. I regret not reading some of the reviews before booking.

My partner and I were only looking around the campsite to see if we might camp there. An older man came up on his bike, and when we said we were just exploring the area, he rudely demanded that we leave. We felt intimidated and frightened out of there, and my wife was left shaken. Looking at earlier reviews, this doesn't seem unusual. Maybe getting a first bike has gone to his head. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
