The breakfast was great, and the room had a classic feel with a nice balcony overlooking the lake. This family run hotel sits in a beautiful spot on Lake Molveno, and the setting surprised us when we arrived: a large garden, heated pool, and a little dock for jumping into the lake. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It’s a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the village, where there are plenty of restaurants, ski lifts up the mountain, and water sports. Dinner options were simple and not especially exciting, though we’re spoiled city guys. All in all, a great place, and we’d love to come back!

We stayed for a week with our 1.5 year old. The staff were incredibly friendly and happily handled all our requests without charging extra. Our room hadn’t been renovated yet, but it was spacious and everything worked perfectly. The kids’ playroom wasn’t very well equipped for very small children, though the table tennis and mini football kept the parents entertained 🙂 A special mention for the wonderful cuisine: top level even by Italian standards, with special care for families with kids. A wonderful place for a family holiday in Molveno.

The staff were great, and I really enjoyed the northern Italian dinner dishes, including things I wouldn’t usually try at home. This lovely family run hotel is right on the lakeshore, with stunning views. Try for a lake-side room if you can. It’s about a 15-minute walk from town, and there’s a bus stop outside.

The alpine setting by Lake Molveno is hard to beat, and we had a lovely view from our room. The rooms are fine for couples, though some guests may not get the same outlook. Breakfast is self-service. Dinner portions may leave some visitors disappointed. I’d give it 4.5 if I could, mainly because our bath had a shower but no curtain. I didn’t find out what entertainment was on offer.

The view is amazing, so I’d recommend getting a lake-facing room. There were lots of older guests and not many children, and it felt like a good place to spend time around local people. I’d give it a solid 4. If you’re over 60, this is really the place for you.
