Lago Park Hotel Molveno

We came over New Year's and made good use of how close the hotel is to the ski resort in Andalo. Downstairs, there's a cozy sitting room with a real log fire. Our room was clean and well appointed, and the hotel is run by a welcoming family. We were on half board, so had a continental buffet breakfast and a delicious three-course à la carte dinner each night. It's right by Molveno's lake, and I imagine it's just as lovely there in summer. The food was a particular highlight. I'd wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

The lack of air conditioning and a fridge in the rooms was a downside, though the man at reception gave me a fridge when I asked. Breakfast felt a little repetitive, and there wasn't much choice of vegetables. Still, Lago Park has a lovely view, an outdoor pool, and a small beach, which make a stay more pleasant. I'd recommend it for a peaceful break in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites, if you're planning to stay in Molveno.

The management is excellent, the hotel is spotless, and the cuisine is superb. I first stayed here seven years ago and was struck by the gorgeous view from my room. Dinner on the hotel terrace won me over completely. I've been coming back every year since.

Breakfast and dinner were both very good, and everything else made this feel like a perfect place to stay: the location, views, room, and service. It was great value for money, and I'm already missing it. A big thanks to Alice for helping us, and to Emily for the warm, lovely service. I'll definitely come back next time I'm here.
