Micol was helpful and suggested good places to see around Monferrato. From here, Casale, Vercelli, and Asti are easy to reach by car. Turin and Milan take about 1 hour and 1 hour 20 minutes by car, respectively, or you can take a train to either city from Vercelli and avoid parking worries. The accommodation is bright, comfortable, clean, and well cared for, with free wi-fi and parking. There’s a bar/restaurant across the road serving good food, and shops, supermarkets, and banks are close by.

I slept really well during my stopover. It was quiet, had air conditioning, and the welcome over WhatsApp was friendly. The coffee from the cute little Bialetti was delicious.
