Just perfect.

The dogs kept us awake, and when we asked for towels, the owner was very resentful. The pillowcases on the double bed were dirty, and I doubt the blankets had ever been washed. On top of that, they only mention the 10 euros per person cleaning charge after you book. We spent two nights here, and it was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They need to learn how to rent out a house and treat people.

For the same price, we've had much better treatment and a far wider breakfast choice at other B&Bs. Here, the morning tray in the hallway had two warm yogurts, long-life milk we couldn't heat because there was no kitchen or stove, some biscuits loose in a tin, and two coffee pods. Breakfast was basically in the hallway, since the place has bedrooms but no common room, and the fridge is in the bathroom. The stairs up to the rooms reeked of the dogs the lady raises, with air freshener awkwardly masking the smell. On the same landing, a door concealed what sounded like dozens of cooing pigeons. Maybe they added to the smell too. Neither our room nor the bathroom, which seemed to be shared with other guests, had a key.

We were away from the crowds and surrounded by nature, with everything we needed for a lovely stay. The place felt welcoming and family-friendly, and the three nights we spent there were quiet and relaxing. We'll be back for sure.
