The location puts you right in central Monfalcone, with everything a comfortable distance away. Breakfast seems homemade, and they make the coffee when you order. Everything here is excellent, and your room key also opens the outside entrance.

The hotel is spotless, and the staff are friendly, professional, and hardworking. Gianmarco was a huge help and handled booking our next vacation very professionally. Claudia is always quick to serve and attentive, and we appreciated the housekeeper’s extra touches while cleaning our room. It’s also close to the main centre and nearby cafes, which makes it a great place to stay in Monfalcone.

I stopped for a coffee and then decided to have lunch. She suggested vegan pasta, and the sauce was a lovely surprise: lemon and nuts with just a little tomato, much tastier than the usual plain tomato sauce. It was €10. My only complaint is the €3 cutlery charge. I know it’s a thing in Italy, but it still annoys tourists. I’d rather see it included in the food price so it doesn’t come as a surprise on the bill. I’ll be back. Monfalcone is a quiet, lovely place, with a nice beach, and Triest is only 25 minutes away by train.
