The building looks onto parking lots, with a museum on the other side. It's a friendly, decent hotel near the shipyard, set in a historic building that the shipyard company once built for its unmarried workers.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and modern, and the building looks great outside too. The AC worked as it should, was easy to use, and made no odd noises. The bed had a blanket, the towels were clean, and the shower had a thermostat. There's also a bidet, plenty of windows that open, an elevator, and free parking. The receptionist was helpful and spoke English. When I mentioned a sink issue in the room, they fixed it. Check-in is available 24 hours. I've stayed in much worse four-star hotels.

The rooms are basic but functional and very clean. Reception staff were friendly, the on-site parking is free, and it's close to the airport. Breakfast was better than I expected. The air conditioning wasn't very easy to operate.

We had a perfect stay, and Monfalcone is a lovely little city. There's a typical Italian market every Thursday, and the sea is amazing. You can find a kite surfing school, and the area is great for cycling. The hotel is very quiet, with really friendly staff and a perfect breakfast, including options for vegans and people avoiding gluten, plus lots of fresh fruit. Soy milk isn't on the buffet, so ask for it. The bus station is right in front: bus LS gets to the train station in 10 minutes. You can pay €1.30 on the bus, or download the TPLFVG app if you're staying longer in the area. I'll definitely come back.

The rooms are huge, clean, and modern, and the staff are so friendly and thoughtful. For an early flight, they made us an extra croissant and coffee before breakfast. Couldn't ask for better.
