Service and atmosphere were just as lovely as the meal at Ristorante della Fattoria del Colle. The food was elegant, delicate, delicious, and clearly made with soul. Donatella Colombini's Brunello's were subtle and delicious too; we had the beautiful 2013 Riserva with dinner. At the end, her husband's Vin Santo went beautifully with the superb desserts. It was a special, magical evening at a soulful little place. Thanks for the experience.

Be careful, the restaurant has a new chef. This was the worst dinner we had among all the restaurants we visited in Italy, and five other guests were also complaining about the food quality. We arrived at 19:30 and waited an hour for our primi, a selection of meats. The T-bone took another hour and a half, then came out cold. We sent it back, and it came back cold again. They'd forgotten about it, and its core temperature was far below the rare doneness we ordered. The waiter apologized and we got a 60% discount on the meat, which is why I'm giving one star. Zero would have been more appropriate. Two dishes took three and a half hours. Don't waste your time or money here.

The breakfast buffet was a lovely start to each day, with a delicious spread and different choices each morning. We were lucky to spend four days at FATTORIA DEL COLLE at the end of September and had several meals at Osteria di Donatella. One lunch was delicious and light, and dinner was phenomenal, with perfect pairings from Donatella’s fabulous wines. The service and atmosphere were fantastic too. We highly recommend it to anyone who loves excellent food and fine wine, whether or not you're staying in the beautiful villas.

The food was fantastic, mostly made with fresh ingredients from the garden on the grounds. And their Brunello wine is rated in the world's top 1%. Alfredo was a wonderful host, charismatic, funny, and caring.

Everything we ate was delicious, start to finish. The pear and apple dessert was a particular treat. Great waiters, menu, ingredients, and wine. Looking forward to coming back soon!
