Le Case Della Saracca

The place is stunning, and even the bathroom is a sight to see. The food was excellent too. Service was slow, though, with too many people and too few staff, so four stars.

We spent a week visiting wineries and sights around the Lange region, and this ancient hotel had a surprise around every corner, with hidden nooks and coves all over. It’s a one-of-a-kind place. The family owners make the service really personal and excellent. Breakfast is arranged around your needs and comes with meats, cheeses, bread, coffee, tea, and juice. They restock each room daily with coffee, water, soda, and light snacks. The attached restaurant is gorgeous and serves upscale, delicious food. Ask for a table on a high floor. There’s a nice bar too, with cocktails, wine, and beer. Other restaurants and bars are nearby, and Barolo is within 15 minutes. I highly recommend it!

The ravioli al plin were a highlight, full of flavor and made with top-quality ingredients. The veal rib steak was perfectly cooked and so succulent, and the excellent wine selection rounded off the meal beautifully. Le Case della Saracca makes for a memorable dining experience. Its stunning setting blends history with modern touches, and every corner has character. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The menu gives Piedmontese tradition a refined touch, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully put together. A restaurant worth visiting, and coming back to.

Dinner here turned into both a culinary and architectural experience, and one we won’t forget. My boyfriend and I were welcomed at every step, and the staff knew so much about the food and wine. We even got to explore the wine caves, which was unforgettable. The place is so beautifully developed, like stepping into something from a magazine. Bravo to the staff, and thanks again. We’ll definitely return, and would highly recommend it whether you’re stopping for a casual drink, dinner, or anything in between.
