Bed Breakfast Carpe Diem

The owner was so kind and attentive that we even got a complimentary room upgrade. Our room was spotless, and the location was ideal. Having breakfast included was a lovely way to start each day. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. We'd happily return and recommend the place to anyone.

We had everything we needed for a short trip: a kitchenette, dining table, comfortable bed, and a clean apartment. It also had a terrace, though the weather meant we didn't use it. An Italian breakfast was included in the price and served on the terrace. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Monopoli.

Dimora Hydra is a charming apartment, very clean, quiet, and close to the sea. You can hear the waves just outside the building, and there's a sea view from the terrace. It had everything I needed, and I slept really well. It's near their main B&B building, where breakfast was fantastic. The terrace there has an even better sea view and gets lovely sunshine. I'd book a B&B room next time if one is available. ;) One thing to know is that the apartment only has sheer curtains, not proper curtains. I gave it four stars because I waited almost half an hour for the host to bring the keys, even though I'd shared my ETA well in advance. I was really frustrated after the seven-hour public transit journey from Meta. He explained it was a family matter, so I hope it doesn't happen to other guests. I'd come back to this region again. ;)

Our room was right in the city center, and we had a perfect week. The host was kind, helpful, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Thank you! Italia, sei bellissima!
