Casa della Madia

We had such a lovely holiday that we're already planning to return in May. Casa Della Madi’s was just right for the two of us, and Giacomo made checking in and out easy. The rooftop terrace was a favorite for wine and snacks, with amazing views. The location is hard to beat, a few steps from the castle and port, and right by our favorite restaurant in Monopoli. We'll be back!

We spent nine magical nights here, with the apartment as a quiet, clean base that had everything we needed. It’s in the old town, close to the water and castle, and the roof terrace was lovely for watching the boats. We explored beaches and snorkelled every day, then enjoyed the local restaurants and shopping in the evenings. The food was delicious, especially the seafood, and finding a gluten free bakery in town was a real win. Giacomo was a great host and arranged our pickup with his lovely brother Alberto, who is an opera singer. Highly recommend.

Monopoli is a beautiful little gem, with lovely beaches and an authentic feel, and this apartment is right in a prime part of the historic centre. The huge roof terrace looks out over the Castle and sea. Inside, it was spacious for two, spotless and had a kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Giacomo was warm and helpful, even offering an airport transfer for our late evening flight. We had a superb stay and hope to come back soon. Highly recommend!

Casa della Madia is a peaceful, comfortable base in the middle of the beautiful old city, with a big terrace for breakfast, relaxing or watching the sunset. Restaurants and cafés are just around the corner, and the location also works well for visiting Bari, Polignano a Mare, Alberobello and more. Giacomo is a genuinely kind person. Monopoli is a must-see, and we'd love to visit again and stay here.
