Dimora nel Benessere

We left after about an hour. I'd booked this apartment for four nights with my husband and our 22-month-old daughter, mainly because of the pool and its location near the city. The apartment initially seemed spacious, but the pool wasn't available when we tried to use it because the gym above was holding private classes. They said we could use it at 8 pm that day, which wasn't suitable for a toddler, and it was closed to us the next day as well. They couldn't say if it would be available for the rest of our stay. The apartment had no washing machine, hand soap, or hangers. Those weren't major issues by themselves, but were annoying in a place booked as fully equipped. The serious problem was the outside door locks, which didn't work. We were told there were security doors, but even when shut, they could easily be opened from the street, giving access to the apartment. When I said I couldn't let my daughter sleep somewhere without a lock, the man in charge, Dominico, got angry. He said Italy wasn't the Bronx and nobody there would take my child. He laughed when I told him I wasn't happy, then swore at me in Italian, apparently unaware that I understood. This place definitely isn't right for families with children.
