Hotel Residence La Corvetta

We felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. Tiziana, her family, and the staff really did their best to make our stay a great one.

The pool is a real highlight, it's large and deep, with comfortable loungers. The hotel itself was very clean, and our two-bedroom apartment was spacious with a lovely view of the sea and pool. My friend and I found the staff friendly and helpful, and one of them even drove us to and from Monopoli. Breakfast was generous, with plenty to choose from. The beach and several restaurants, mostly seafood and good pizza, are just a couple of minutes away on foot. Monopoli is about four miles away, and the bus service becomes less frequent from mid-September, so getting around without a car can be difficult. The coastal walk towards Monopoli is well worth doing. We sometimes heard loud music from another hotel at night, but earplugs helped. This hotel itself stays quiet, which was a big plus.

We ate well at the restaurant, and the chef was attentive. It seems like a nice spot for a family or a group of friends, though it may feel a bit too family-oriented for a couple travelling alone. I'd return if I get the chance.

We left as soon as we arrived because the place was that bad. It felt like something out of The Walking Dead. Don't stay here. They also wouldn't give us a refund.
