Il Trullo del Lazzeruolo

Each morning brought a different homemade breakfast, which we enjoyed. For basic supplies, there's a small supermarket almost across the road, while restaurants are a short drive away. Alberobello, Polignano a Mare, Ostuni, and other attractions are nearby. The holiday home is lovely, with a covered terrace and a small private pool. The bedrooms, living room, bathroom, and kitchen are simple but perfectly adequate.

The hosts were incredibly approachable while also giving us plenty of space. Breakfast was delicious and made fresh each day by the hostess, often with produce from the farm, and the homemade olive oil was lovely. We even got to watch her make traditional Italian cheeses, explaining each step as she went. The trullo is a traditional place to stay, with a beautiful garden and pool, and the donkeys and goats are hard to resist. Just a few steps away, there’s a shop with basic supplies and a typically Italian saleswoman. It’s a wonderful spot in Puglia and a great base if you have a car. A lovely Italian vacation ♥️

The place has a big patio, a pool that we couldn't use because it was cold, but that looks perfect for summer, and animals you can see and greet. There were even fresh eggs, surely from their own chickens, and they were very good. The house, the trullo, is beautiful and has everything needed for a quiet stay. Viviana was wonderful, so kind and attentive the whole time. We went with two friends and a girlfriend for a lovely day. My friend and I ended up arriving later than the agreed time because of an unexpected delay, but it caused no problem. An unforgettable experience, highly recommended 💕

The breakfast at the end was delicious, and the dogs and donkeys are adorable. There’s a big garden and a distinctive mushroom-shaped house. The host was warm and friendly. You absolutely have to stay here. Perfect!
