Masseria Pittore

Our suite took up the whole top floor and came with a rooftop garden. Breakfast had a good mix of sweet and savory choices, with coffee made to order. The owners were warm and welcoming, and the old farmhouse is surrounded by olive groves but still an easy drive from the ocean. Easily the nicest, most stylish place we’ve stayed so far.

Floriana was such a friendly host, and each morning she put out a lovely range of homemade cakes and baked goods for breakfast. She also pointed us toward some great places to eat and visit. The apartment was spacious and beautifully furnished, with high ceilings that made it feel calm and homey. It’s a very quiet spot in the countryside, though still close to Puglia’s main attractions and good restaurants in Monopoli. A beautiful Masseria. Thank you.

Floriana made our week at “Masseria Pittore” feel special, and the hospitality was unforgettable. We had a small flat with a terrace that worked perfectly for breakfast and dinner. In the evenings, the breeze and cicadas were lovely, and the children had plenty to do at the playground. The masseria is easy to reach from the highway and close to several great beaches. Breakfast featured local bakery and dairy products, including focaccia barese, burratine, and Floriana’s homemade cakes, which I loved. Everyone on staff was patient, friendly, and responsive. My only reservation is the price: for the same amount, we’ve booked places with better furniture and services. That’s a detail, though, since the experience overall was incredible.

Such an incredible place, full of character and really beautiful. It was clean, close to the beach, and the owner was lovely. We’ll be back!
