Casa Normanna

The room was a little small, but it worked fine for a couple of days. The owner was cheerful, nice, and always available. Cleanliness was the one drawback; it needs more attention.

Renata was incredibly friendly and kind, and was always there when we needed anything. My partner and I had a really lovely stay at Casa Normanna B&B. The building was very quiet, even in the evening, and the welcoming place on the third floor was well equipped and very clean. We were just a few steps from Monreale's center, about 5-10 minutes on foot, and 20-30 minutes from Palermo. It's convenient if you're driving, and someone recommended a nearby parking lot. Our room was spacious, with a very comfortable balcony, and it was cleaned daily, with towels changed too. Breakfast was topped up every morning with all kinds of delicious croissants, plus coffee and juice. Highly recommended. If we come back to Sicily, we know where we'll stay. Renata's hospitality couldn't have been better. The rooms are roomy, comfortable, and clean, and the value for money is excellent. It's in a great spot for visiting Monreale Cathedral, with bars and restaurants close by, so a car isn't needed.

We found a free public parking lot just a few meters from the hotel, which made parking easy. The manager welcomed us warmly and made us feel at ease right away. She doesn't speak French and knows only a little English, but she was attentive and put together a delicious breakfast. The rooms were exceptionally clean, almost clean enough to eat off the floor. The hotel is on the third floor of a building in Monreale. The downside was the very basic soundproofing: we could hear everything said in the room behind us, along with an engine that kept running outside. It was really noisy.
