Mrs. Lina was lovely, both helpful and courteous, and I really enjoyed chatting with her. Those two days felt like being at home with my grandmother. The B&B was clean, well located, and great value for the money. Thanks, Aunt Lina. We’ll definitely come back.

The room situation changed at the last minute. We had paid a month ahead for a triple room, but arrived to find it had been switched to a very cramped double, with no refund. If I hadn’t prepaid, I would have changed our two-night booking then and there. Mrs. Lina did all she could to make us comfortable, but the property needs a lot of work, including the cleaning and breakfast service. The bathroom sink was dirty when we arrived. I posted a video showing what it was like. On the first day we found a bedbug on the bed, and the next morning we had bites that seemed to be from some kind of insect. An elderly woman does her best with breakfast, but don’t expect much. On the second day we skipped it and went to a nearby bar. I’d only suggest this place if you have no other option, and for one night at most. Even then, looking elsewhere would be better.

Mrs. Lina welcomed us and really looked after us. Breakfast was generous and tailored to what we asked for: we wanted savory food, so she brought out different fresh cured meats, fresh milk, and juices. She even offered to cook eggs, though we stopped her just in time! I hope I can come back soon. And Mrs. Lina, do try to write that book! ♥️

The rooms are simple and clean, and clearly cared for. Breakfast has plenty of sweet options, and the little upstairs room is a lovely spot for coffee or cappuccino by the crackling fireplace. The guesthouse sits just a short walk from the center of Monsummano Terme. It has a slightly retro feel and a welcoming, family atmosphere. Simone and Ludovica are young, friendly owners who make a real effort to greet guests warmly. Their smiles, hospitality, and professionalism made the stay worthwhile. A place to try!
