A car is essential here, but it makes a lovely base for exploring Tuscany, with Pisa and Florence nearby and Sienna to the south. Or just settle in and switch off. The house is clean and well cared for, with roomy rooms and a good bathroom. It's a peaceful country place, great for families or anyone who likes being outdoors. There are olive groves, wildlife and history to discover around here, and even some kitties. The hosts are friendly. I'd recommend it.

That hot tub overlooking the Tuscan hills was a lovely way to unwind, and there’s also a barbecue guests can use. We stayed with my wife in this farmhouse surrounded by nature. Mr. Alberto welcomed us warmly and showed us both apartments. Each was beautiful and practical, especially the larger one, which really stood out for its looks and attention to detail. The kitchen was fully equipped, too.

Alberto was really helpful with tips, including one of the best restaurants we went to in Tuscany. The apartment was tidy and very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom that had a washing machine. There’s secure parking and air conditioning, though we didn’t need it. If we come back to Tuscany, I already know where I’ll look for a place to stay.

We used La Casina as a base for trips to Pistoia, Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, and Forte dei Marmi, all only a short drive away. Back at the property, walking through the olive grove and the vegetable and fruit garden was lovely, and guests can help themselves to what’s there. The owners were thoughtful and discreet, and quick to respond whenever we needed something. It’s a quiet green spot that made for a really relaxing break. Supermarkets and a shopping center are about 15 minutes away. Highly recommended for a peaceful stay.
