The pool is fantastic, the renovation was done well, and the apartments are clean. But the last major update seems to have been quite a while ago, and it shows in places: some rooms need painting, one lamp shade was missing, and a shower cabin door only partly closes. The buildings are old, converted into holiday apartments. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location gives you a good mix of countryside and nearby places to visit or shop. A solid four stars for a great stay, and recommended if you want to be in the middle of Tuscany.

There are two supermarkets nearby, and the local town is a 1.5 km walk away, though the hills are quite steep. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, and set up well for cooking your own meals. There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from, and the swimming pool is a good size.

Lovely place for families, couples, or groups. The owner is really nice, and we liked the apartment, pool, and bakery service. We'll be back next year, highly recommend it!
