We came as part of a wine tour and were impressed by the friendly welcome, generous servings of food, and excellent wines. Don’t miss the fried pizza dough!

The signs suggested the winery was open to visitors, but unfortunately it wasn’t.

We stayed three days in this beautiful farmhouse during the Eroica, three of us plus our dog, who stayed free, in apartment 3. The room was clean and full of charm, with Florentine terracotta floors and beamed ceilings. We liked having the kitchenette, and the woman serving breakfast each morning was very friendly and helpful. The cured meats and fresh pastries were excellent. They also sell their own wine and olive oil.

We had a very relaxing stay, tucked away in nature and a few minutes’ drive from Montalcino, far from the center. The apartment had everything we needed, including a delicious breakfast. The receptionist and hostess were extremely friendly, and there’s plenty of parking beside the apartments.
