That 15th century Villa took my breath away. The architecture is stunning, and the whole place felt like the Tuscan countryside I'd always pictured. The village is peaceful and idyllic, just right for the kind of vacation my wife and I wanted. There were never more than 20 people around while we were there. We had the best pasta at a romantic restaurant, then sat in the gorgeous backyard looking out over the endless horizon. We saw one of the most beautiful sunsets ever, and we were always happy to come back to this place we called home. We also got to taste wine.

The kitchen was a little short on space, especially for preparing food. Still, the old buildings have loads of character, and the extensive gardens, lovely pool and table tennis were all excellent for our break.

It may not be beautiful, but it is beautiful. This was an oasis of calm and beauty, with that warmth you find in Tuscan people. I'm glad I got to stay here and will do my best to come back. Thanks, Cinzia.

Claudia is a wonderful hostess, and Montisi and the surrounding area are beautiful. We spent a week at the lovely Borgo, with a well-equipped place to stay, a lovely pool, and peaceful surroundings.
