Giannetti bed & breakfast

The rooms are spacious and very clean, and there’s a parking lot. The location is great, with places to eat nearby, and it’s good value for the price. Breakfast includes warm pastries and coffee, which was good, though I wish they also offered eggs and fresh fruit or vegetables.

It’s a nice place with nice people, and seems like a fairly good investment. The garden needs attention, and the bathrooms need exhaust fans. There should also be one in the small space before rooms 4 and 5, and breakfast should include fruit. Maybe I’m wrong, but the people handling the place don’t seem to be the investors. This B&B could be much more appealing.

This family-run B&B is in a breathtaking part of Montalcino. The little stone building has a charming Tuscan style, and there’s a small garden with lemon trees where you can get some refreshment during the day. Our room was always very clean. Breakfast, served by the very pleasant owner, was so beautifully presented it looked almost like a little wedding feast. And the cappuccino was very good, which matters a lot to me. I shouldn’t be surprised, since we’re in Italy!

The morning meal is the real highlight. Breakfast in the garden during summer is the icing on the cake, with homemade cakes, artisanal jams, fresh fruit, generous portions, delicate aromas, and coffee that tastes like a sincere good morning. Every part of it shows real care and hospitality. The rooms feel sweet and welcoming, with harmonious colors, lovely curtain fabrics, and details that seem chosen to make guests comfortable. Nothing feels accidental, yet it all comes across naturally. I also appreciated that they avoid plastic for the bathroom amenities. Giannetti B&B is more than somewhere to sleep. It’s a peaceful little corner where time slows down and the care for beautiful things stays with you. Highly recommended if you want a stay that becomes a treasured memory.
