10/10
The setting was a real highlight, and Montalcino is only about a 15-minute drive from the house. We loved unwinding in the garden and having those incredible home-cooked dinners. It was a wonderful vacation at Lavacchio, and the interiors were lovely too.

2/10
There are no amenities, and the house is completely isolated from neighbors. It might suit someone coming for hunting or who enjoys the countryside, but I wouldn't choose it for a decent summer vacation. The bedrooms and bathrooms are miserable, the accommodation is very old and dilapidated, and there isn't even any signage. The price doesn't come close to matching the quality.

10 out of 10 for the room layout, the building itself, and the location. Spectacular.
