Passing through, I found the access to the rooms inconvenient. There was nobody at reception when we arrived, and the price felt high for the location.

The owner was courteous, and I don't doubt the kindness he mentioned from a family member who helped us. I appreciate that, but it didn't make the meal good. The bruschetta was edible, though we had to make do, and the steak cost €15 for a slice I couldn't eat. A free focaccia doesn't make up for that. The service was neither quick nor truly slow on our second evening, just slow, and the first time I was so hungry waiting that I ate two baskets of bread. Kindness matters to the experience, but it can't fix the food. Thanks for being kind.

The potato tortelli with meat sauce were a real highlight, and the crostini were great too. The food was carefully prepared, not fussy or overworked, and not greasy. We tried a few dishes, and the flavors got better with each bite. I happened to pass by around dinner and the smell of pizza caught my attention, though it had already made me curious when I walked past earlier. They have both a restaurant menu and a pizzeria menu. It's a quiet place, and the calm atmosphere and kind service make you feel at ease. We also enjoyed talking with the chef. Compliments to him.
