The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with a gorgeous garden full of fruit trees. It’s tucked into a quiet spot just outside Montallegro, close to lovely beaches and towns. Peppino and Marcella made the stay especially memorable. They welcomed us warmly, were attentive and helpful throughout our five days in July 2023, and gave us a heartfelt goodbye. Their hospitality went beyond what we expected. Thank you both for everything, and all the best. We’d gladly come back one day. I’d give it six stars if I could.

The rooms were very clean, and the beaches nearby were quiet and clean too. Several are only 5-10 minutes away. It’s a handy base for day trips, whether you’re heading to other towns by car or spending time at the beach. There’s an inexpensive Italian restaurant about five minutes away. For breakfast, you can find cafés in Montallegro or at Bovo Marina, where they open around 8:30. One downside, 3G in the house wasn’t always reliable.

The outdoor patio was lovely, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We stayed in the large ground-floor apartment, which was spotless and fully equipped. Peppino and his wife gave us a warm welcome and had left water, soap, and cleaning products for us. You’ll need a car since the house isn’t very close to the sea, but several wonderful beaches are just a few minutes away.

Starry nights and olive groves made the setting feel idyllic. We rented the whole house, which had everything needed to feel at home. Peppino and Marcella were always attentive to what we needed. It was a great choice.
