Chef Thommy is a genius with Abruzzese food, and the owners are such hard workers, always friendly and smiling. I have family in Montazzoli, but I still stay and eat at La Collinetta whenever I’m there. The bed is pretty hard, and the cleaning lady can be noisy early in the morning, but everything’s very clean and it’s well worth it. Can’t wait to go back ❤️

My husband’s lamb was the best he’s had at a restaurant in Italy, and my ricotta and mushroom ravioli with creamy walnut sauce was delicious. The food is always freshly made and good. It was busy at Sunday lunch, and service wasn’t up to its usual standard. I think they were training a new waiter. He was very pretty, but didn’t seem to listen or remember our order, so the owner had to rush around serving people. We’d still go back. Next time I book, I’ll make sure they can cater for the vegetarian in our group.

The mushroom ravioli is one of the best dishes I’ve eaten. We’ve been to the restaurant twice, and the food has been excellent quality at reasonable prices. Well worth a visit for good food and pizza, and a full Italian experience.
