The breakfast was 10/10, easily the best we’ve ever had at a B&B or hotel. Our room was clean, bright, and cool, with a lovely view. Romina was a fantastic host at Come una Volta, sharing lots of information about the island and always being available when we had questions.

Romina greeted us warmly and was quick to reply to messages. She shared tips about local food and places to explore, then brought a delicious breakfast to our room each day, with fresh savory and sweet options. The spacious room was cozy, nicely decorated, and super clean. It’s well located next to the lake, ferries, and restaurants. I’d definitely recommend staying here when you visit beautiful Monte Isola.

Staying at Come Una Volta was a memorable experience and exceeded our expectations. Romina welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away, and she gave us useful advice for enjoying the island. The charming surroundings and delicious breakfasts were a treat. The place is right in central Peschiera Maraglio, close to restaurants, ferries, and walking paths around the island.

We celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary on the 29th January 2020 and stayed at this lovely B&B hotel. The owner was gentle and so accommodating. She made a delicious breakfast for my husband and me, and even let us try their typical salami and olive oil on a little piece of bread. It was delicious. We hope to come back.

A lovely, friendly young woman runs this wonderful B&B / Pension. She speaks several languages fluently and clearly has an artistic eye. The decor is simple and pleasing, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable.
