They were very slow to communicate. My messages went unanswered until I’d contacted them several times. Their website says guests are accepted until 7 p.m., but they told me they were closed. They say they can’t accept dogs, even though they’re dog lovers, and didn’t discuss any details with us. We don’t recommend them.

The house had a lovely Italian rural feel, and the larger picture was appealing. There was a pool, which I didn’t find dirty at all, despite what others have said, working air conditioning in each bedroom, an astonishing location and view, and the added bonus of being at a riding stable. If the problems were fixed, I’d give it five stars without a doubt. There were several small issues that added up. One bathroom door wouldn’t close or lock, so you’d have to shower with it open. The kitchen was very basic and still a bit dirty, with an old smell. A living-room cabinet door was broken, and we didn’t dare touch it again. There wasn’t a proper seat in the living room, just a bed with no pillows, and a full ashtray was left on the outside windowsill. On arrival, nobody was there to greet us, and we waited 20 minutes for someone to show us to the house. It turned out to be another two-minute drive along a country road that’s definitely unsuitable for very low or old cars, so keep that in mind. The service once we got there felt very rushed and was over in two minutes.

The vineyard and riding stable are beautiful, peaceful, and friendly. We especially liked the pool and the breakfast, which cost 5 euros. I just wish the owner had explained more about the farm and how it works.
