Chef Gegè made our meal memorable. He suggested a drink I loved and took such care with the food. I don't like coffee, so he made me a tiramisu without it, and it turned out to be the best one we had on our trip through Italy. He also comes by the table for a chat and is happy to take a fun photo with you. Great service, and the food was delicious. We paid around 20-25 euro's for pasta, so the $$$$ Tripadvisor label isn't right. A fantastic lunch or dinner spot, absolutely recommended.

Nina & Gegè are wonderful hosts who clearly cook with passion. They can make you a simple local meal at a great price, or prepare a Michelin-star level menu if you ask. An unforgettable meal, highly recommended.

The chef's passion for food comes through in everything, and he and his wife welcomed us so warmly that we felt like family. We had a wonderful night in Monte Sant Angelo, with course after course made thoughtfully from simple, locally sourced ingredients and paired beautifully with local wines. Thank you for such a lovely first Michelin experience.

The food was excellent. Even a simple dish like pasta with cime di rapa was already delicious, and the chef brought out the natural flavors in traditional recipes. There are two set menus, one with 3 courses for 40 EUR and another with 5 for 65 EUR. There's no a la carte option, though I'm not sure why, maybe that's just not part of the concept right now. The wine suggestion was great. A wine list showing prices by the glass would help, though.

Every course was well balanced and cooked beautifully, with no weak dish in the five-course meal. It's a charming restaurant, and the owner-chef and his wife are delightful. A fabulous find, thoroughly recommended. Stephen Rubin
