We booked a wine tasting and cantina tour, and my husband showed the gentleman the emails confirming it after he said he knew nothing about our visit. He seemed to brush us off with a “fine I guess we will do this” and a shrug. He only became a bit friendlier about 20 minutes later, after he found our confirmation email. The tasting itself was just okay. We couldn't choose which wines to try, and the meat and cheese plate was disappointing. Then the gentleman left us with a colleague for the cantina tour, which lasted five minutes. She didn't even know how the grappa they make is produced. We didn't stay in the hotel, and after this experience we don't plan to. The staff weren't very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially the lovely pool and the great restaurants in town and at the resort. Monte Carlo is a beautiful, quaint town, just a 10-minute walk away.

A lovely little place to discover along the route between Pisa and Florence. The people were friendly, the rooms nice, and the restaurant great. I'd definitely recommend giving their wines a try.

We really enjoyed dinner here and liked both the room and the pool. The only snag was that the restaurant was closed for the owners' private event on our last night. I wish we'd been told sooner so we could plan around it. Breakfast was very basic, though perhaps that's just how it is in Tuscany. We enjoyed our stay at La Torre.

The staff were so welcoming and made sure everything was just right, and the wine pairings were spot on. We had an amazing dinner and a breakfast spread with everything you could want. Our room was cozy and spotless, and the stay felt wonderfully relaxing. Wine Resort La Torre is a real hidden gem in Montecarlo for food and wine.
