The rooms were spacious and clean, though plain, and our group had trouble with the old fashioned showers. It's an elegant hotel in a quiet spot. There didn't seem to be many staff, but the ones there worked hard. Food was the main letdown. Breakfast was chaotic, with queues at the drink machines, and the quality was poor. The plastic tasting cheese and ham never changed. Dinner was very poor too, with no choice and processed meat. I wouldn't return or recommend the hotel.

The room was spacious and very clean, with a nice bathroom, good shower, and air conditioning that worked really well. Staff were friendly, especially the bar staff. Breakfast had plenty of choices and good coffee. The pool was crowded most of the time during our August stay, and could use more sun loungers. Bars and restaurants in the centre are an easy ten minute walk away, and the Funicolare to Montecantini Alto is about fifteen minutes on foot.

The rooms are huge and have stunning views over Tuscany, and the location worked perfectly for us. It was a five minute walk to a beautiful park with walking trails, and about fifteen minutes to the Funicular or train station. We loved the spa, especially the lovely sauna, and Roberta gave us an incredible massage. The staff were so kind that they booked an airport taxi and packed breakfasts for our 4 a.m. departure. And the buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had. Six stars, I can't recommend the hotel enough.

The cleaners broke the toilet seat, so we couldn't use it properly. Breakfast had very little variety. At least the security staff did a great job 👍🏻. The crew should have been more helpful. We expected better 😕

The spa facilities were very clean. We started with the steam shower, dry sauna, and jacuzzi, then Roberta gave us wonderfully relaxing massages. Her technique was perfect.
