Hotel Holiday

The surroundings were lovely, and room service was nice, but the rest was poor. On the first day the food was low quality and the portions were small: cold fries, a piece of chicken and spinach, followed by pasta that left you too full to wait for the apple dessert. After we complained, the food was better prepared the next day. There was mold and moisture on the walls in most rooms. I was told alcohol wasn't allowed in rooms when I brought beer back, though drinking in front of the hotel or on a sofa in the hall by the exit was apparently okay. The rules don't say there's such a ban. The air conditioning either didn't work or had no remote, and the WiFi only worked near the entrance. I don't know why the hotel has three stars in Italy. Maybe it's for the wooden windows with shutters, typical of Italy?

The staff were unwelcoming, and the food was even worse than the terrible rooms. You couldn't stay out as long as you wanted, and they'd threaten to call the police if you came back after midnight or even made noise.

There was loud street music until 12.30am. I bought a parking ticket for the street, but my car was still removed because of some issue. The staff should've warned us when they sold me the ticket. Now there's a 200euro fee!!

The bathroom was so awful I'd rather use the toilet outside the hotel. Just terrible.
