The views across the Tuscan hills are lovely, and the place is generally quiet. That peace gets interrupted by heavily used leaf blowers and a dog that barks constantly. The hosts are always keen for a chat, even when you’re not. Our apartment was an older one, with creaky doors, furniture and dishes showing some wear, and rather dated furnishings. The pool wasn’t always available either: it needed repairs first, then the owner’s extended family partly took it over.

Every room and apartment sits among nature, so you really see and feel the surroundings. The place is classy but warm, and the prices felt fair for the quality. The staff are lovely, kind, and happy to talk. They made us feel like lifelong friends, and their love of art came through. We didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I spent New Year’s here, and we’d happily return right away. The apartments were modern, comfortable, and had what we needed for a proper stay. The bathrooms were roomy, and the beds were really comfortable. The managers were excellent and so kind too. We needed an extension cord and an adapter, and they rushed to find them for us. Happy New Year again!
