A lovely quiet spot for resting and getting out into the Tuscan countryside. The apartment matched its description and had all the cooking equipment and bathroom towels we needed. The owners were kind and helpful, too. The old iron mine is only 300 meters away, so it's worth visiting. Recommended.

The ancient mines of Montecatini Val di Cecina are nearby, and the coast is about 50 minutes away. The drive there is lovely, through woods and olive groves, though this isn't really a base for a seaside stay. What makes this place special is the quiet: no TV, no cell phones, and limited access, so you can really settle into the unspoiled nature and see an incredible starry sky. The farmhouse is beautiful, the apartments are cared for, and the owners are very kind and attentive to both the furnishings and the environment. I left with a real sense of peace, and this place has stayed in my heart. I highly recommend it.

There’s plenty of room, with a direct view over the beautiful Tuscan hills. The house is clean and well cared for, and has that feel of old rural Tuscany. Staying here let me forget the pressures of modern life for a while.
