We found an excellent restaurant and a relaxed wine bar just a few hundred meters from Le Albare, and the winery and shop right next door were a nice bonus. On this road trip, we especially fell for the local Garganega wines. The hotel is in Pergola, a small village among vineyards and only a few kilometers from the E70 motorway, with convenient parking right outside. We arrived in the early evening and were warmly welcomed by a delightful elderly lady. We didn’t speak the same language, but she quickly got us settled and explained breakfast and the practical details. Our simple, tidy room on the second floor was clean and recently renovated, as the rest of the hotel seemed to be. It had a stunning view over rolling countryside and rows of vines. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was modest and had no hot dishes, but there was enough to start the day. It’s a peaceful little three-star hotel, and the value for money is outstanding. We can wholeheartedly recommend it.
