Cilento Relax City House

We walked to the beach every time, even with my wife and our one-year-old son. The house has been recently renovated and sits in a handy spot close to the sea, which is beautiful and has good services. The owner was very kind and friendly. The downsides are the stairs: the house is on a pedestrian street, and the municipality hasn't installed a ramp. Parking in town is limited too. Recommended.

We've renamed it "Cilento stress city house." Want a relaxing break that turns stressful? Fancy staying in an uncomfortable "house" where a man in white underwear wakes you at 1 a.m. to move your car? Or driving up to the foot of a hill so steep the car nearly does a loop? Then this is your place! For the thrill-seekers, the welcome is a run-down, horror-film kind of house. A cheerful lady greets you holding a roll of toilet paper and takes you to an apartment with questionable "baroque" taste, crammed with mismatched, broken furniture. The bathroom comes with a shower in the sense that its water runs across the floor and washes your feet. The nearby sea, a kilometer away on foot, is yellow. Have a good stressy time, everyone!

The food was fairly satisfying, but the set menu was expensive. After just a few samples of the first course, they brought us a slice of pan pizza and hardly any meat.

The location is really good. The building is old, but you can make do and still feel comfortable!
