Masseria Sparano

The dining room is bright, comfortable, and accessible, so it seems like a good option in any season. Outside, there’s lots of well-kept green space, play equipment for children, and farm animals, all just a few minutes from Battipaglia. The staff are warm and helpful, and the place has an easygoing, family feel. The food is the main draw for me: generous portions, quality ingredients, and proper traditional flavors. The appetizers are varied and hearty, and the first courses are consistently good. Set menus with drinks included make the price feel very fair. A peaceful place to eat well and feel at home. I’d happily return.

The €30 set menu includes drinks, which is hard to beat for the quality and amount of food. We had a very generous appetizer, then excellent ravioli and another really good first course. The meat was tender, full of flavor, and cooked just right. It’s a relaxing, family-friendly spot, with a tidy garden, plenty of outdoor space, and play equipment for kids. The young staff were polite and smiling throughout. We felt comfortable as soon as we arrived, and I’ll definitely be back.

The meal was a lovely surprise: a generous appetizer, delicious first courses, and tasty, well-prepared mains, with good wine and quick service. You can feel how much care goes into the work. There’s plenty of room for children, and the green, thoughtfully kept setting has a calm, family atmosphere. We were welcomed with a warm smile and kindness as soon as we arrived. We’ll be back soon, maybe to celebrate with friends again!

We celebrated my father-in-law’s 80th birthday here today, and it was a special day. If you want to spend an authentic day surrounded by nature, this is the place. Courtesy, kindness, and quality really stand out. Thanks to everyone.
