The restaurant gets one star from me, the food was tasty, if a bit small in portion, and the staff there were lovely. The campsite itself was a miserable experience and very overpriced. We arrived in August in our campervan. The man didn’t seem to think we had a booking, called someone, then shoved the phone at me to speak. The woman confirmed our reservation and he showed us to a pitch. He was very insistent that we park close to one side, though I couldn’t see why. There was no toilet roll or soap in the bathrooms. It rained a little, not much, yet our pitch flooded completely. Even after a full day without rain it hadn’t drained, leaving us in a mud bath. I know hard standing wasn’t advertised, but a pitch should cope with a bit of August rain. The tracks to the pitches were gravelled and had no mud. The photos show the pitch when we left, after a dry night, and that was as good as it got. The rest of the time the water and mud were ankle deep. If it was this bad in August, I can’t imagine what it’s like at other times of year when it rains. When I mentioned the pitch as we left, the man shrugged and laughed. A small discount would have been the polite response after such an unpleasant stay, but he just wanted his money. Poorly managed.

That two-week stay while my son was at summer camp was a fantastic experience. The bungalow was clean, well looked after, and comfortable, a cozy place to rest after being outdoors. Breakfast was a real highlight. There was plenty of variety, and the staff took our dietary requests seriously, making sure we had suitable options. The restaurant on site was another treat, with excellent food and a chef who clearly takes pride in the cooking. It was so convenient having it right there. The owner and staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived, always ready to help and making sure we were comfortable. The manager of the bar and restaurant deserves a special mention for being attentive and genuinely caring. They went the extra mile for both my son and me, and made our meals memorable. Between the comfortable bungalow, thoughtful service, great breakfast, and excellent restaurant, we had a memorable stay. I’d happily recommend this place for summer camp or a relaxing camping trip.

Lovely surroundings for cycling or heading downhill at Bikepark Cimone, and the view is beautiful. The camper spot was good. Sanitary facilities feel a little dated, and the value for money is just okay.
