Breakfast is served in the frescoed hotel, and the B&B is close to the square. Getting there by car isn't possible at all hours because of the traffic limits, so you have to use a public parking lot outside the walls. That was a little inconvenient, especially since you're right at the top of the town center. There's also a long staircase up to the rooms, which isn't great when you're carrying suitcases.

The central location was good, but there were serious problems with the room. Street noise from below came through, and the old portable air conditioning units were loud and ineffective. The room and windowless bathroom both had a strong sewer smell. An outlet by the bedside table was hanging loose, and we woke up without electricity or water. They fixed that after we reported it. Breakfast at Hotel degli Affreschi was poorly presented and low quality. The food was left uncovered, there were no tongs for the pastries and bread, and the products seemed industrially made. When we asked for bread, staff had to make a last-minute purchase.

The owner was spectacular ❤️, and breakfast was very good and included. The B&B was clean and conveniently located for everything in the center of Montefalco. I'd highly recommend it and hope to come back as soon as I can.
