Relais Il Margarito

The peace we found at Il Margarito felt rare in today's fast-paced world. Breakfast was always delicious, with authentic products, and a kind young woman patiently and cheerfully took care of our requests. We didn't get to say goodbye, ciao! Mr. Riccardo's organic oil deserves a special mention, too. I recently spent a few days in the Marche with my wife and children, and we were blown away by every detail, from the greenery and pool to our room. The owners' kindness made us feel at home. The children made friends with their lovely dogs, Olivia and Otto, and Trump, the friendly ginger cat who was always ready for a cuddle. The property is peaceful, with sensational hill views, and well placed for visiting local villages and nearby seaside resorts. If you want a few days of real well-being, go here.

We spent a wonderful weekend surrounded by peace and beauty. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with all sorts of plants, and the well-equipped pool looks out over the hills. One evening, fireflies appeared, something I hadn't seen in years. The location and the property itself are enchanting. Mr. Riccardo welcomed us warmly and knew so much about olive oil, a passion he was happy to share. The staff were ready to help with every need. Highly recommended!

From the garden, kept in wonderfully good shape, to the elegant room furnishings, the attention to detail stands out. The views from every corner are breathtaking, especially at sunset. Our room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the pool was enchanting and peaceful. Relais Il Margarito, tucked into the Marche hills, felt like an oasis away from the mid-August crowds and an ideal place to recharge. Talking with the owners was engaging and stimulating. Breakfast was very standard and had no particular faults, but felt a little disappointing next to the property's high standards and the expectations set from the first contact. Once I've got some slack to work off and a high enough stress threshold, I'll choose Il Margarito again. I hope to return as soon as I can.

Mr. Riccardo, the very kind owner, shared his passion for olive oil with us, from the estate's olive trees to the exquisite organic oil served at the table. We were lucky to taste freshly picked cherries and pick juicy mulberries straight from the tree. Nights were completely quiet, with trails of fireflies for company. The rooms were clean and carefully maintained in two annexes beside the main house, where the owners live, which gives guests privacy. Staff paid close attention to our needs and did their best to accommodate us. Though well placed for exploring, we spent much of our rejuvenating long weekend here, relaxing in the green spaces, including a jasmine-edged gazebo for reading and a dreamy pool overlooking the unspoiled countryside and picturesque villages. Arriving at this peaceful spot in the lush Marche countryside, we were captivated by the setting and atmosphere. If you're looking for calm and a closer connection with nature, this is the place. Five stars don't do the experience justice.
