B&B Le Colonne

Pasquale knew so much about things to do in the area and was an amazing host. The views were breathtaking, and breakfast each morning with those cappuccinos was a highlight. I’d recommend staying here without hesitation. If you can, I’d pick the 3rd room for its views.

Our host took such good care of us and even gave us great restaurant recommendations. When we arrived in the evening hoping for a bottle of local red wine, the B&B had run out, but our host got the keys to the wine shop across the street so we could buy some after hours. We loved our stay and could easily have spent many more nights enjoying the nearby wineries and restaurants. It’s a real gem, and the scenic journey is worth it. Nothing less than a 10/10, and a weekend we’ll remember. Thank you, Palazzo Ruggiero, for a stay we won’t forget.

I finally got a proper mattress after 20 days of travelling, the best one so far. It’s a great little town, and my father was born here. Just be aware that the room with the hot tub has no AC. The top floor room does, and I’m not sure how I missed that, since I know I clicked AC as a must-have on booking.com. I thought I could handle the heat, but by 4pm I was roasting. In summer, you’ll want the other room for sure. Pasqual, the owner, was very hospitable. He also owns the handmade ceramic shop diagonally across the street. Ask him to open it so you can have a look around. I posted a few pictures.

Pasquale gave us a tour of the whole town and made us a great breakfast. He couldn’t have been nicer. Such an amazing little B&B.
