Bed and Breakfast Villa Gioia

The hosts made us feel very welcome. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and breakfast came with really good coffee.

The villa itself is elegant and sits somewhere quiet, but the room we were given was a real problem. The owner welcomed us kindly, though she hadn't mentioned that we'd be sleeping on camp beds in the cellar. The damp and bad smell down there were unbearable, and deodorizer hadn't helped. My friends and I had changed our plans on the way back from Puglia, cancelling a stay we'd already booked so we could spend a night here after seeing the photos. We wish we'd known about the cellar beforehand.

We felt right at home, thanks to the warm, family atmosphere and the owner's attentive, discreet help. Our room was comfortable and spacious, with its own bathroom. Breakfast is sweet and Italian, with homemade items, though you can ask for savory options. The villa is also well placed for the local outlets, and both seaside towns and inland villages are easy day trips.

The rooms are big, the place was impeccably clean, and the location was really convenient. The owner welcomed us with kindness and professionalism and was always happy to help. I highly recommend it!
