This is only about the restaurant. The food was excellent, and so were the service and atmosphere. I’d highly recommend it.

The food is excellent, with real local flavours and a little twist. We stayed three nights, and it was a really nice place with very friendly staff. The rooms are nice, though it can get noisy when people dine late. Sleeping and eating here is still highly recommended. The area’s wines are good and reasonably priced, around 70-90€ for two people.

The view is breathtaking, and you wake up looking out at the beauty of the Italian countryside. It’s a peaceful, vintage-feeling place, with lovely people and delicious food made from old recipes. There’s a wide choice of extraordinary wines, with lots of different tastes and flavours. Nearby, you can visit some lovely wineries or enjoy restaurants with great views and food. If you’re looking for an authentic Italian locanda, this is the place. One thing to keep in mind in hot weather: there’s no AC, just a fan. The nights should be fine with the windows wide open.

A nice, local spot with good food at moderate prices. The menu is only in Italian, and the waiters don’t speak much English, but they can help enough if your Italian is a bit rusty.
