Hotel Garden Terme

The rooms and facilities were very clean, and the hot springs were above average. Service was attentive, with outstanding staff, and the food and wine list offered plenty of choice. It delivered the quality I’d expect from a four-star hotel.

The elevators are so small and have no ventilation, which could be a problem if you’re claustrophobic. Aside from that, the service is great, and the food and rooms are excellent. It’s a great spot for thermal baths, mud baths, massages, and more.

My wife, son, and I stayed for four days in July, hoping to visit Venice and also relax by a thermal pool with good food. The Garden Hotel in Montegrotto gave us that and more. The large pool sits in an impressive garden, with tennis courts, table tennis, a children’s area, and paths that are lit at night. We loved spending a few hours swimming before dinner. Dinner was served in a cozy, nicely furnished room, and the food was plentiful and high quality. The menu was thoughtful, and the service was warm. The same care shows throughout the hotel. The owners clearly put a lot into giving guests a great stay, and it shows in the well-kept garden and recently renovated rooms. My wife and I look for high quality hotels when we travel. Even alongside some strong four- and five-star places we’ve visited over the past couple of years, Garden Hotel stands out for its thermal pool, food, rooms, and the owners’ genuine care and passion. We’re already planning to return.

We wanted a comfortable, relaxed base for visiting places like Venice and Verona, and we found just that. The hotel is clean and cozy, with a slightly quirky feel. Its gardens are lush, and the thermal pool is wonderfully warm and inviting. Breakfast on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day, and the semi-buffet dinners were a treat every evening. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, especially Renato, who became our hero. We’ll miss him when we head back to London. It was also nice to have the owner greet guests in the evening. A fabulous stay.
