The thermal pools were the highlight: clean, spacious, and enjoyable, and I’d recommend them. Still, I wouldn’t say the stay matched the price. There was no complimentary water, the bedding felt low quality, and tea choices were very limited, just one bag per person with no variety. The bed was okay, though not especially comfortable, and the shower was so tiny it was hard to move around. We were first put in the smallest, least desirable room, where the air conditioning didn’t work. Staff later said they knew about the problem and moved us to a better room, but only around 10pm, so we had to repack and move everything late at night. There was no help with luggage either, so expect to carry heavy cases up the stairs yourself. I don’t mind paying for quality, but this affected my satisfaction.

The hotel is close to the train station, which made day trips to Padova, Verona, and Bologna easy. We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time, including two spa days with lovely massages. The rooms were comfortable, and the food and staff were very good. After check-in, the staff were great, though RCI guests seemed to be treated a little differently at reception. Our room was on the train side, and the hallway carpet was worn, unlike the updated floors. If you’re arriving by train, keep in mind there’s no elevator, escalator, or help carrying bags up and down the stairs.

The staff noticed all the little details, even adding a scented touch to the bag with our towels and bathrobes. Florian looked after us throughout our visit and was incredibly kind and helpful. His care made a real difference. I went with a friend last night to the thermal pool and spa, and we had such a relaxing, cozy time. The facility is sophisticated and chic, and the food is fantastic too. We’ll definitely return :)

I stayed for a week in August 2025, and I’m still thinking about it. The area of Italy was wonderful, the food was wonderful, and the hot springs were amazing. Padua is just a quick train ride away.

The pool and four-course dinner were standouts, and Fabio, who waited on us most nights, was attentive and remembered what we liked. Our room was lovely, too. Stefano, Vittorio, and the rest of the staff were so friendly and helpful. They made our stay at Mioni Royal San perfect and our honeymoon extra special. We hope to return one day!
